Visitor management module (APS Administrator extension)
The APS Administrator.VIS program serves as a reception application, which enables the visitors management, issuing visitors cards and spare resident cards.
The program enables to set up routes, which define the passage options to the visitors in a building. It is possible to use a local PC reader for easy issuing of the visitors cards and spare resident cards. Furthermore a local OCR document reader can be used for easy, fast and precise registration of the visitors and residents identity verification.
The removal is provided by the communication server after visitor’s valid identification at an exit reader. Furthermore the visitors access rights are limited by expiration date and time. If the visitor does not return his card by himself, the access rights are automatically revoked at the given moment.
The VIS license must be contained in a single piece of HW in the entire system to meet the terms for this extending module use. In APS mini Plus system any reader can contain the VIS license. In APS 400 system the VIS license can be contained in the system controller.
